Fischadler
So, what is that freaky lookin' bird in the x-ray?
A fischadler or as we know it in the United States: a young osprey! I was worried that since I got the email from Mark Martell, that the bird's id would be easy to figure out, but it was quite a challenge. Makes me rethink that warbler photo I just decided not to use for an id quiz...So, congratulations to KatDoc.

They X-RAYED a bird!?!?
I used to work at an airport security checkpoint back in my youth, and whenever an animal came through we would walk it through the metal detector but never ran them through the x-ray machine! I wonder if this osprey will get cancer someday? :-(
