Is it a booby?
Okay, I think that elizabird above should win but I'm going to say it's a Bald Eagle.
American Kestrel, safe in the bosom of birdchick's love?
judging from the uncanny resemblance to muppet Sam the Eagle, I go with bald eagle, like egret's nest did.
Is it a baby peregrine falcon?
=^..^=
Yvonne
PG-13 was that a hint?
PereGrine Falcon is my real answer....the feet are too yellow for a booby.
It's a peregrine. The photo thus shows two bird chicks.
Thus 2 birds in the hand are worth 4 in the bush??
God I wish I was baby mammal right now!
This current UK resident says it must be a Great Tit.
OMG, is that PG-13? I think it is, but I did grow up in the era of raunch movies... :/
Adapting Meg from the UK's answer: Since this photo is a little "blue", I will go with Blue Tit. Although, "Booby" is also an excellent reply.

Fun answers, but the bird has not been correcty identified yet.
Hey, dguzman, is that a rabbit with stunted ears in your photo?
A Northern Harrier?
I'd guess it's a merlin kid

looks like a young coopers hawk
or they could be Baby BIRDCHICKS
Sort-of, Sharon. His ears were eaten off by his mother when he was a newborn. She killed his brothers and sisters and started on him, but he was rescued. He has a little stub on one side, and on the other side, he has nothing. The vet told me there was likely a hole but it healed over.
Now when I see regular bunny ears, they look strange to me. He's the sweetest little boy bunny ever!
dguzman - I have heard of bunnies eatting their young - but why do they do it?
Anyone?
