I want to know how you met Neil. Is he an avid birder along with being a prolific writer?
That photo is just...well, I don't know what it is.
I got know Mr. Neil when Non Birding Bill adapted one of his short stories for the stage. He's not what I would call a hardcore birder but has a FABULOUS yard for feeding birds that I love to play in. I pretty much use him for his birds.
