Halloween Costumes for Birders - Revised
I started with the first photo, but found more!
I think I found my Halloween costume for this year...even if it is a tad inaccurate (this is obviously a male peacock's plumage).
But wait! I found more!
Or the more classic Chicken!
Here's a new take on an old classic, Chicken With Its Head Cut Off!
The Mallard!
The American Black Duck (aka Daffy Duck)!
The Bald Eagle! This particular costume costs $895! (Must be those furries driving the price up). If you can't afford the $895 and still want to dress as the national symbol and endangered species, I found:
The Economical Bald Eagle at $450!

You and me both!
Darn, I was hoping for a quail costume...or at least a bird that's shaped a little more like me.
LOL, what girl would ever want to dress up as a gender-appropriate peacock? Give me the pretty plumage any day!
Do we get to see the costume in Cape May?
Is there a costume party at the Cape May Fest??
None that I'm aware of... but maybe we could combine forces and create one ;)
Actually, a couple vendors do dress in costume for The Bird Show... and then there's the face paint.
Why are you not dressing like Cinnamon?
Cinnamon would disapprove of any human attempting to look as cute and innocent as her!
