The Blog Is Back!
The blog, the blog, the blog is back! Oh happy day. For those who don't know, the server that hosted the site "got corrupted" on Saturday and after waiting for the problem to be fixed decided to switch servers. And I thought not being able to upload photos through blogger was irritating. Try having your site go down right in the middle of one of the busiest bird festivals in the country and introducing yourself as the operator of a very popular birding site and it's gone. Ugh!
It may take a day or two to work out all the kinks with the switch but boy do I have some swag and great contests coming withing the next 24 hours.

Welcome back!
Maybe your blog went away out of sympathy for me being without my PowerBook.
I was doing the happy computer dance yesterday when I finally got my laptop back from the Apple store. I took her in on Thursday for a simple overnight repair and ended up having to order another part which didn't come in until Tuesday morning.
How quickly we become addicted to our technology, huh? *grin*

Several months ago, I got sick of my blog being hostage to Blogger's maintenace issues. I got a web hosting service and used WordPress to convert the Blogger blog to WordPress. Never looked back since!
Of course, Blogger is free, and you can't get better than free. However, if you have some cash to spare and a good deal elsewhere... well worth it in the long run!
I think Cinnamon's shirt sales would contribute mightily to that. Hopefully, that wouldn't meet his disapproval! ;P
We're considering WordPress but this last problem had nothing to do with blogger.
