Readers, I Need Your Help!
Hey guys, I just looked at the sales of my calendars and the sales are not what they could be for Indiana, Ohio and Illinois--part of that is to be expected, this is the first time we are doing the calendars there. But I need to buckle down and promote them in those states. If you live in any of those states and know of any radio/tv stations that it might be a good idea for me to send a press release and interview request, can you tell me the name of the station (also, if you know of a local show that would be ideal for birds that would help too).
Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan are doing well, but I'd love ideas for radio and tv shows I could send press releases to those states too. Thanks guys, in many ways you are my think tank. Please leave suggestions in the comments section.

You've probably already thought of Bob and Tom on Q95, right? Including a pic of you in a "hot all bird action" shirt would surely keep you out of the slush pile. :-D
And while it's not radio or TV, the Avon Wild Birds Unlimited store has a good number of people doing chats (Stan Tekiela was here last fall) and you might do a signing next time you're here.
I did just send an email to Bob and Tom right before I read your comment and I put Hot All Bird Action in the subject line! Great minds thinks alike.
They aren't syndicated in MN, but when I'm traveling on the road, I pick them up and it's such a treat.
I wouldn't know the joys of Tim Wilson's Booty Man song were it not for them.
You might try WFMT in Chicago. That's the classical music station and I bet there are birders who also like classical music.
