birdPod Is Now birdJam
BirdPod has officially changed it's name to birdJam and they have increased their product line.What I'm most excited about is that they are offering a new portable speaker that works with most every iPod model--any generation—including Video. iMainGo is a state-of-the-art digital amplifier, weighing just 9 ounces, and measuring 5.7 in. x 3.8 in. x 2.4 in. The click wheel is accessible through a clear touch-sensitive window for easy and instant access.
I hope this is at Bird Watch America, I would love to give it a whirl.

I would love to give this thing a test run too. Wonder how Great Horned Owl calls sound coming out of those little speakers, thats the real test. Let us know if you get to try it out and make sure to try American Bittern and some owls at full volume!

This thing is impressive, judging by its specs. 2.5W per speaker is pretty good. Most of the small speakers I've been looking at are in the 1W range, which doesn't seem like enough.
I'll stay tuned for updates when more people get a chance to see these things in action.

I hope the sound is good too. This is the most compact speaker I've seen and the price isn't bad. I'll be curious to see how it does with both great-horned owl and black and white warbler.
