Bunny vs Snake
Remember the bunny chasing the crow that NBB posted a few months back? Well, reader Sandy sent a video that blows that act of bravery out of the water (this one has a happy ending for the rabbit):

Actually, I'm kind of floored by the fact that goofy music and a laugh track were added to that footage. I was supposed to laugh? Because, wow, I SO didn't find that funny!

I think it is a male bunny... and it's spring... (or summer, fall or winter for that matter) He just wants to *luv* the snake; anything that moves will do.
I get the impression that this was on one of those funny home video shows. I muted the soundtrack.
I love this video and find it funny because it's blowing up wild animal stereotypes. We normally see an image of a bunny and snake (or video) and the outcome is not in the rabbit's favor. Here we have a cute rabbit chasing off the snake--I've never seen that scenario end in well for the rabbit before.
I think this is a female defending her nearby offspring. It's nice to know that experienced rabbits are more than just cute, furry food.
I wonder if there are any videos of rabbits chasing off raptors--perhaps bunnies know their limitations.
What species of snake is it? Anyone knows?
