More North Dakota Updates
We digiscoped the crap out of our field trip today. Today's birding was so awesome that it totally made up for the crap weather on Thursday. I have so many photos to sort through that the updates are going to be pretty darned cool!
I'm currently listening to Bill Thompson talking about birding. He just made a crack about my karaoke ability. For those who have read about their mad song stylings and have always wanted to hear them, here is a taste:
They were the music last night during the wine tasting at the festival. I shouted a request that they sing Blister in the Sun...and they did! They sound good.
Oh, more bee keeping posts are coming--don't fret bee fans, I'll be checking the hives next week. Also, we are now offering very cool bee t-shirts. BE WARNED--these are a little more PG-13 than the other shirts. So, parents who read the blog with your kids, may want to check them out alone first. Non Birding Bill came up with it, I died laughing when he showed it to me. I was hesitant to offer it, but everyone we have shown the design loves it and insists we offer it. So, here is the bee shirt.

Thanks, Sharon! I can't help but think of Grosse Pointe Blank when I hear that song.
Thank you for the Not Safe for Kids alert. Great shirt, just not for us.
I am pleased that the shirt is in black, so Mr. Neil can wear it. ;)
Bootleg Thomp/Zick! Awesome. Thanks for the look and listen.

and had a hearty laugh... first line in the blog has me cackeling ... little did i know
when i looked at the shirt i almost fell outta my chair laughing so hard... like if you haven't already guessed i'm a pretty conservative Christian gal and not ashamed of it and yeah, not a shirt i'll prolly buy or send to all the staff i work with :-p but funny is just funny... or as larry would say - that's funny right there, i don't care who ya are that's funny...
thanks for the hearty laugh...

I am so getting that t-shirt.
But I will have to hide it from the girls...Isabelle, who is 5, can read a little, and I don't know if I can explain that one.
But I am still getting one.
Just wanted to let you know Cabal seems okay. But poor Mr. Neil I think got alot email about tomato juice. And his poor bathroom probably got more water splashed around on it than on Cabal. Thank god though for Mythbusters, apparently he saw their show dealing with tomato juice and getting skunked. I didn't know how to help him but I thought ms. birdchick might, since she might have worked with skunks or known someone who has at her Rehabilitation place. Though I think the skunk their might have gotten some of the bees, because apparently they have been very riled up. Is it just me or is Cabal a dog version of his cat Fred ?
