How do cats know when you could use a furry face to make you smile?
I'm quite familiar with that look. Sometimes I think my cat just sees me as a machine designed to feed him, pet him, and act as his furniture when he wants to sit on me. He also hogs the bed at night. But I love him.
They know. If it's something you want to read, write or just look at it is their Sworn Duty to lay on it.
Max, get OFF the keyboard
Computers are warm and will attract any house cat. I'm glad that my keyboard locks after a few minutes of non-use. I would have so many odd documents otherwise.
Somebody wants some attention...
A stray kitten followed me home on Sunday and he does not understand that I should be more intersted in typing things into this machine when I could be giving him cuddles.
And, dead on cue...
Meow!
sweet kitty! they live for pleasure.
Awwww! I just want to skritch his (her?) cute widdle fuzzy head! (But don't tell Lump I said so!)

See...the really cool thing about that picture is that if you just ignore the ghost paw on the keyboard, it looks like one leg is actually reaching into the screen...
