Jittery Monarch Release

And now a very jittery video of me releasing two monarchs that emerged from their individaul chrysalises today:

How sweet and sad. It's always difficult to let critters go when you've helped them along, but they look healthy and happy, so they'll be fine. The second butterfly looked like it wanted a hug before leaving.

I like background the music as well. One of my favorite is guitarists is Julian Bream.

Great video. I'm looking forward to the fall/winter migration of the monarch butterflies. They usually begin to show up around here in California the middle/end of October. Do butterflies use the same migration flyways as birds do?
