Hey, Did You Hear Something?

A white-breasted nuthatch and downy woodpecker surprise each other on the bird feeder.

Look at the wide stance on that nuthatch...perhaps it should be renamed Craig's nuthatch?

I like the Salvador Dali effect of that feeder, with the bend in the bottom. Did you have to pay extra for the creative wave at the bottom? Looks very artsy.

Yikes!

Even as we speak, that nuthatch is trying to clear his name, much to the chagrin of the conservative (read: narrow stance) members of the bird congress.

Oh dear, I was worried no one would get my joke.

The pole that the feeder was on fell over (all the rain as really softened the soil) and the mesh feeder got bent in the process. I love mesh feeders, they are one of my favorites to use, but if they fall they almost always bend.
