Hey, Did You Hear Something?
A white-breasted nuthatch and downy woodpecker surprise each other on the bird feeder.
Look at the wide stance on that nuthatch...perhaps it should be renamed Craig's nuthatch?

You are so bad.
"tap...tap...tap"

Nut and pecker ...
at woodpecker if definitively trying to figure out if the noise he heard was an echo or something else.
I like the Salvador Dali effect of that feeder, with the bend in the bottom. Did you have to pay extra for the creative wave at the bottom? Looks very artsy.

HAHAHA! Nice one!
Yikes!
Even as we speak, that nuthatch is trying to clear his name, much to the chagrin of the conservative (read: narrow stance) members of the bird congress.
"I am not, nor have I ever been, GRAY!"
Uh, yeah.
hey, check out this weird bird:

Argh! Katdoc beat me to the Salvador Dali punch!!
Oh dear, I was worried no one would get my joke.
The pole that the feeder was on fell over (all the rain as really softened the soil) and the mesh feeder got bent in the process. I love mesh feeders, they are one of my favorites to use, but if they fall they almost always bend.
