Man o man, the humidity and high temps today made it feel like there was a gravitational smack down instead of the usual pull that secures you to the Earth's surface. That combined with my stuffy nose and coughy chest made me forgo
buckthorn removal around Mr. Neil's property. But I did do some digiscoping and found some of the juncos that I have heard lurking in the trees. The snowbirds are moving south.

What a cute bird.
Disapproving Rabbits are known in Whiteland!
No kidding. That happened yesterday and I got a kick out of her enthusiasm for the site.
Just wanted to say that your bird pictures are so beautiful....thank you for taking the time to post all your stuff.
There were HUNDREDS of juncos up at Hasty Brook over the weekend.
Juncos are on my top-10-cutest/prettiest birds list. Love those pink beaks!
I must have had a hundred juncos on my lawn and around my feeder this morning. Amazing.
Maureen! That's awesome--Disapproving Rabbits in Whiteland, IN? But, has it hit New Whiteland yet?
Buckthorn removal will knock you on your butt even when you're at 100%.
Good thing you refrained....might have killed ya.
LOL! The scary part is that I *understand* that comment!
My friend who was from there had explained the old vs new and how they've supposedly merged now, but the water towers still proclaim "WHITELAND" on one side and "NEW WHITELAND" on the other.
Obviously the people on the east side of 31 are much cooler since they know of Disapproving Rabbits. :-D
