Totally Stealing From Hawk Owl's Nest
I found this news report while looking over at Hawk Owl's Nest of the rescue of a passage red-tailed stuck in a park bench. The accompanying video is awesome, a must watch.

Thanks for posting this, Sharon. That was quite a video. I'm so glad it turned out so positively for the hawk.
Thank you fo rthis. It was rather distressing to see it trying to get free.
I am glad it did not hurt itself in the struggle.
Who knew that park benches were so dangerous....
Poor hawk! And huzzah for animal rescue persons!
Amazing video (I was whispering "cover its head" to my computer screen as that animal control guy was grabbing its wings). I'm glad they were able to rescue it without any physical injury.
It's strange how calm the hawk looks, even though she knows she's helpless. You can see that she's saving her strength for when she might need it. I'm glad the rescue came along before she did any real damage. Very cool video!
I love happy endings, was so glad they got there in time, thanks for posting that
That was awesome, Sharon. Thanks for posting it. I was sure it would hurt itself and am so glad that it was freed and released!
Unrelated. Found this guy randomly on line, thought you might like his slide show of a team banding 7 wk old bald eagles.

His site is loaded with sound, you might want to turn down your speakers before you click in.
