Also, I think it's fake. The reported isn't very convincing.
I too am 8. Fake or not, it is a hoot.
What a clod! I never look up when birds are overhead for that exact reason!

I always thought of myself as 13 instead of 8...but still found this funny.
I agree with patrick that this is fake. First of all--what the heck are Canadian Brown Finches? I don't know of any bird that has that for a folk name. Then I thought, well maybe he's referring to a redpoll, a non birder might see a common redpoll as brown, but then the poop happend--that's one heck of a splotch for a redpoll. That was more long-eared owl or Cooper's hawk sized.
Though funny, I think this is fake.
