Man oh man, do I have chigger foot this morning. I'm tempted to post a photo, it's not quite as bad as Harlingen a few years ago, but it's up there.

The only thing I've ever found to alleviate chigger bites is to swab them with ordinary household ammonia. I still have bite scars from a Texas birding trip two years ago...no fun!
