Great Backyard Bird Count
Once again this weekend is the Great Backyard Bird Count...and once again I will not be able to participate because I'll be at a bird festival in Connecticut. But there is a GBBC Blog and you might see some familiar faces writing it.

So are you still planning on Birds and Beers at the Eagle Festival? I'd love to join you (although I don't live close enough to have any idea of what a good bird-friendly bar in the area would be).
Sharon, thank you so much for posting this and I feel like such a traitor. I asked you to, and I'm not even going to be down at the farm/pond to count this weekend :( I'm so sad.
I really appreciate you posting this though - I hope a lot of people count!
