Spring Is A Little Closer
It's almost completely yellow! So close to spring! In other news, here is a link to a video of why you should not pick up wild birds...especially young chicks if you do not know what you are doing--be sure to watch the whole video (it's about a minute long and is safe for work). The slow motion really brings the point home.

If you really want your nose pierced, kiddies, go to a professional.
That's not how I would personally choose to have my septum pierced, but then I'm not hardcore.

I hope the bird emerged unscathed.
This is known to owners of companion parrots (in my home at least) as the bowling ball grip, presuming both nostrils are involved. Very painful, but I never learn.
