Weirdest Sentense I Have Read All Week
From a news article in the Star Tribune:
"the health department's advisory has suggested people can consume more fish tainted with mercury and PCBs than previously recommended."
Why does this sentence not give me any sort of comfort whatsoever?

but it gives the fish such a nice flavor!
have these people never heard of bioaccumulation??
The way I heard it...it's only CERTAIN people; healthy adults, even. Not old people, not pregnant people, not young people. Yeah, I want to eat stuff with THOSE restrictions.
And just what is CAUSING said mercury and PCBs? Why its the garbage we flush into the ocean!
See...this way, with what they're telling us...there is no reason to stop business from dumping such crap into the sea. There is no reason to clean up the mess.
Ain't life just GRAND?
Beverly you're so right - I think I saw in Parade this Sunday where once glaciers melt a bit more we'll have easier shipping channels thru the Arctic and our food will cost less! WOW So they immedaitely have told those who really read the Parade and believe it, that the melting glaciers is an OK thing...geez...your food'll cost less....should I just kill myself now! It seems monumental sometimes to get people to listen to reason.
