I witnessed some Carolina Wrens going at it in similar fashion a few days ago-- it was like a cage fight. Those little guys can get mean. Phew!
Nice video! Those two are going at it.
Sunnybird, the Sun Conure who lives with us, does the same thing whenever an empty paper towel roll is pointed in her direction. She grabs the end, scratches with her talons and flaps like she wants to carry it away.
