It would have been cooler if he were coming out of the hole.
Whack-a-nuthatch!
Seriously though, that's cute!
Hope you're buying that camera!! Very cool - and they have a two for one or half off the second...will you get one for me?

I am sad because I can't see the image. I just see don't hot link. Why is that?
I would try a hard refresh. I asked Non Birding Bill and he said, "My first guess is that she's looking at it from work, and she's seeing it through a proxy server. Other than that, I dunno"
Sharon,
Just curious, but when you say you are "digiscoping" with the XSi, do you mean you are really digiscoping (attaching it to your scope) or are you using the Rebel with zoom lense instead of a scope? If the former, what kind of scope are you using and what are you using to attach the two? I've been saving up for a better/bigger/much more expensive zoom lens for my XSi (and I've still got a lllooooonngg way to go), but if there's a way to attach that to a good longer-range scope I may have to adjust my plans. (And probably save even longer....)
Glad you're enjoying the new Canon, tho!

Hey Kyle,
sorry I didn't answer sooner. I am testing out using the xsi attached to my spotting scope. A lot of people use slr cameras for digiscoping. It can be like having an 800mm lens.
When ever I post photos from my buddy Clay, he's using an slr attached with an adaptor to his Swarovski scope. There are two adaptors you can get from them, one is the DCA and it works great. If you go to Swarovski's website and click on the digiscoping link, you can find more info and a list of cameras that work.
Here is an example of Clay hand holding a scope attached to his slr to get flight shots:

Here are some great ring-necked duck shots from Clay too:
