Pimp My Scope
Check out this tricked out Swarovski Spotting Scope someone was toting at the Cape May Autumn Weekend. He used surf board stickers:

Maybe Swarovski can start a Pimp My Scope program? I saw a TV show like that for cars once. I could never afford a Swarovski, as it would be 1/4 of my yearly income - it would be my only chance to obtain one ;-) My scope cost $400 originally, but it is not worth anything now, it is old and junk.
Not a bad idea to individualize your scope. I do it quietly with a few name and address stickers Just In Case, which is a good idea, but being glaringly obvious about making it look different has advantages. It would help when in with one or two dozen other birders at some rare sighting. If nothing else it might help some absent minded birder from grabbing yours by mistake.
I birded Higbee Beach with the guy using that scope. It was unique!
