Mary Scott In Ghost Bird
Here is a clip from the upcoming Ghost Bird movie. It's an interview with Mary Scott who is one of the first people who saw an ivory-billed woodpecker in the White River area of Arkansas. She also used to run BirdingAmerica.com which appears defunct. She's infamous for incorporating non traditional methods in her search for this species (up to and including using a psychic):

At first glance I read
"Mary Queen of Scotts in Ghost Bird" and wondered about that storyline...
Makes me want to take a trip to Arkansas...more than almost anything. I can only imagine the emotional explosion I think I'd experience if I ever was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Ghost Bird.
The scene of the two birders down by the river scanning with binoculars caught my attention as the guy on the right is Bob Russell. Of course Mary mentioned Bob quite a few times in the interview but it was nice to see Bob in the movie.
i could not watch it as internet is too slow here.but thanks ivar kraft for showing this excellent blog.i will regularly read you.thank you
I think the use of The Pixies 'Where is my Mind?' on the movie trailer sums up the whole IBWO situation best.
