I am jealous. Have only seen one Common and have never seen a Hoary...I guess I'm going to have to leave GA and venture out into the cold. Shoot...I made it through the Space Coast festival, I guess I can handle Minnesota. :)

The Redpolls visiting our feeders have been in with a flock of Pine Siskins.
Sweet! I've yet to see a redpoll (of either species) but my envy is tempered by the fact that I did get a great boreal bird of my own over the weekend - White-winged Crossbills have been showing up all over Ohio recently.
