Winter Finches
Here's a video from Mr. Neil's feeders yesterday. You can see goldfinches in winter plumage, common redpolls, and pine siskins. The most fun is the sound of the hundreds of finches in the trees waiting to come down to the feeders. I love the up slurred, "shreeeee" of the siskins:

Cant' watch the video because it's "private".
ARG!
I don't know why YouTube does that. When I upload videos, I always select "Public." I even have the uploader set to default on "Public" but half the time it publishes "Private."

Should be fixed now. If not, try doing a hard refresh.
Great video! The background sound of the birds adds a nice touch.
For those of us arriving to the ballgame late, what is Mr Neils?
Jayrod,
Mr. Neil is the guy that I keep bees with. I just added a hyperlink to his website.
YAY! I jsut read the Graveyard Book and it is one of my all time favorites. What a great story.
Great video. Did see an article in the star Tribune paper edition on Neil it was pretty good, however they did barely touch on his beekeeping in the paper article.
