San Diego's Mission Bay has got 'em. I remember seeing there feet well. That's my guess anyhow.

I love the American Bittern. He puts on a show, if you can find him.
Def a coot
Of course their Coot feet, but I still love the American Bittern. He's much cooler to watch, and often nearby if you can see past all those coots, teals you can find AB swaying with the reeds.
