Hi,
Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks to Birdchick, Swarovski Optik and to all the readers who cast a vote and left comments on my strange little bird.
I'm with the rest of you; all of the entries were great! Each day's entry I would read and comment to my family, "there's the winner!"
This was a fun thing to be involved in and it was an honor to be included in this group of fabulous birders and writers.
Great birding to you all -- maybe I'll run into some of you this fall at the Midwest Birding Symposium in Ohio (there are still openings, yes?).
And if you're ever in Indiana, stop in at the Salamonie Interpretive Center, do some birdwatching and say hello!!
