I don’t know if I’ll be getting much birding done today outside of filling all of my feeders. Weather forecasters are predicting “the big one” this weekend. I was going to go banding this morning but my car has been making that screeching noise that means, “Yo, woman, replace my breaks NOW!” Responsibility calls, I need to get that taken care of before the snow starts tonight.
Sometimes it’s such a bummer being a grownup.
I agree completely about the grown-up stuff. Work, responsibilities, paying bills, housekeeping, etc. all get in the way of my birding, and thus they all stink.

Glamour/society? Birding and bunnies?
I guess photos of Cinnamon are considered glamorous.
Like Lynne and Archi Ann, I too have been told that, thanks to me, your blog is being re-rated to “Glamour/Society”.
Now, I’ve only been reading your blog for a couple of months, and I don’t know you at all, but somehow I think you are getting a bit of a kick out of that.
I also got the “Glamour/Society” email from SonicWALL. Does this mean that birders are no longer to be thought of as nerdy or less-than-fashionable dressers?
Most important though: does Cinnamon approve of this new rating?

I got the glamour/society message, too. It must be Cinnamon’s fur coat that makes you look like a candidate for the Oscars runway.
