The image of a hive of "stoner" bees is just hilarious to me.

Congrats!!!! Your photos reminded me of our honey harvest. That is a beautiful shot of the capped honey frame. Nothing better than being honey drunk!

Good info on the Ross Rounds, the partner is interested in packaging honeycomb for sale. We spent too much time in the local Whole Foods honey aisle!

The dessert story had me cracking up!

Great pictures. It's good to see happy bees.

I have never seen a scarlet tanager, let alone have one dive at my head. How cool is that? I'd take a bird-bonking to see one. :)

Mmm, salt-flavored cheesecake! That's almost as good as the time I accidentally topped my Christmas mince pies with baking soda, thinking it was powdered sugar. (Result: fizzy.)

Glad to hear that the bees are doing well!

That Italian place sounds hilariously terrible. We have an Italian place like that here. It's right off the highway, tiny, with terrible service, terrible food, and tiny portions. We joke that it's a tax front for the mob.
