Congrats on winning the blue ribbon again. But I can not figure out what the point of the bell jar box is? I even followed the links. Did I miss an entry? Cool bee box through! I’m sure Batman could figure out this CCD thing. I think the Joker is behind it.

@sfmarty: I was thinking the same thing. Irritating one of the most-popular bird bloggers, not to mention one of the most-popular English-language fiction authors on the planet, is reputation-suicide.

I followed the link. Didn’t see a message about “sorry, you’ll get your bees next year.” But I did see a scrolling message about colonies for sale. I wonder if that’s a bankrupt company selling-off its assets?

If you tell the suppliers of the Russian bees that you have millions (I assume) readers, and that you will post their not sending you back the money, bet that will speed things up.

Of course they may be on the brink of bankruptcy and can’t do it. Toss up.
