I usually have a steady stream of grosbeaks at my feeder (just north of Green Bay), but have seen less than usual this year. Maybe they're all Farve fans...

My parents are seeing rose-breasted Grosbeaks up in Lanaudière, just south of Mt Tremblant Park, about two hours north of Montréal, where they've never seen them before.

I had to actually get out my Peterson to confirm the new bird at my feeders this year-Rose Breasted Grosbeak. First time I've had them in 30 years here (about 2 hours north of NYC).

Great shot! I wish I had the RB Grosbeaks daily. They only pass thru here to get to your house. Feel free to send them back, I will make sure they have plenty of BOSS>

I share your thoughts that there are more grosebeaks this year. I live about 4 miles north of Big Lake in the tall red oaks and usually have one or so mated pairs..this year I have seen 4 males at the feeder at one time and still see two or three males at a time at the feeder. It's a good thing.

Awww, that one looks concerned. It seems like he's saying, "Yeah. There are a lot of us. I hope that's not a problem." (Anthropomorphism: It's what's for a mid-afternoon snack.)
